Blackjack is a pretty black and white pit bull terrier born 9-27-2002. He lived with a family including an 11 year old and 5 year old, until they decided they couldn't afford their dogs anymore and turned them over to animal control. BlackJack is a very special boy. He is gentle and does well with non-dominant dogs. Although he is very shy he wags his tail and "spins" for attention. He loves having his ears scratched and being petted. He needs a home with people willing to work with him to make him feel at ease and become more outgoing. He's also a very handsome boy.
Blackjack was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. His seizures are currently under control with daily medication that he will need for the rest of his life.
