Birthdate: May 23, 1998

Male

Italian Greyhound

He is a small gray/white purebred Italian Greyhound. He was brought to the HHAF shelter shortly after the July 4th, 2008. This little fellow was found running down a busy street lost and confused. Mojo settled right in at our shelter. He loves to play with his doggie friends and adores his human caretakers.

During routine intake it appeared that Mojo had lost sight in his left eye. After more detailed examination by a veterinarian it was determined Mojo would be better served by having his left eye removed. Within a couple of weeks of his intake he underwent surgery where his eye was removed, a skin lesion was removed, a dental cleaning and several teeth were extracted. Mojo has recovered with remarkable speed and doesn't let his partial loss of sight slow him down at all. He can be found sunning in the small dog exercise yard or curled up in his soft doggie bed, waiting his turn for a loving family.
