Monty is a little chocolate and tan Chihuahua about 8-9 years old. He weighs about 12 pounds and is blind in his right eye. He loves attention from his caretakers. Like many Chihuahuas Monty tends to bond with one special person. He is protective of the person holding him when he's being held, and barks and will nip at other people who try to take him away from his buddy, so he needs a home without children. He doesn't like to be crated, but does fine in a single room. He'd be happiest as the only dog in a home, he'd rather other dogs and cats leave him alone. He loves to sleep in bed with people, or snuggled under blankets in a doggie bed. He's perfect about going outside to have BM's, but needs a little work on #1. Monty is looking for a very special home that he can spend his retirement years. We recommend a home that is knowledgeable of chihuahua's and their behaviors.
