Growing up humane in a violent world is not easy these days. That's why humane education can play an important role--with programs that aim not only to reinforce positive attitudes and behaviors towards all living things, but also discourage negative ones. Children who grow up with positive attitudes may be more likely to resist negative peer pressure later on. Children need to learn compassion and empathy and also that they can make a difference.
You may feel that because you are a kid, you are too young to make a difference. That is NOT true!!! There are so many things that you can do to help our animal friends. You can be an example to all around you by showing them how easy it is to be kind and helpful to animals. Your family, friends, and neighbors will learn from watching you and soon the kindness will spread.

Animal Prayer
I ask for the privilege of not being born...not to be born until you can assure me of a home and a master to protect me and a right to live as long as I am physically able to enjoy life....not to be born until my body is precious and men have ceased to exploit it because it is cheap and plentiful.
Please pass this information on to any and all animal-loving friends. Wouldn't it feel great to know your child could make a difference?
Humane education is a process by which a person comes to realize that all life is precious, and that there is an interdependency between people and animals.
Our motto:
Tell me, I will forget
Show me, and I may remember
Involve me, and I will understand
