Casslyn's Birthday Party

Casslyn had a 6th birthday party, and instead of asking for presents for herself, she asked for gifts for Happy Hills. Everyone had a great time,

and all the animals at Happy Hills are very grateful!

Most of Casslyn's family came, as well as 7 puppies

and 2 small dogs from Happy Hills

Casslyn's Mommy and Daddy provided a treasure chest of toys so that every child that came got a toy.

The animals from Happy Hills got lots of food, and toys, and donations to help pay their vet bills

There was lots of cake and icecream, and the ladies in the background were teaching children to make clay animals.

Cheryl came with Angus and Raggamuffin. This was a great treat, as usally she can't get away from Happy Hills.

Casslyn's Daddy (Steve) was wonderful, even while cleaning up what puppies do on nice white rugs. Somehow he kept on smiling!

At times, though, Steve enjoyed the puppies as much as the kids did.

Casslyn's Mommy (Carolyn) had been very sick, but she did a wonderful job with the party, and she was also a hit with the puppies!

And there were lots of puppies and lots of kids.....

And great fun was had by all.

All in all, $385 was donated to Happy Hills, as well as about $150 worth of pet food and supplies, and another child had so much fun he wants to do the same for his birthday party.
