It all
started with a borrowed trailer and some Christmas
decorations |
Then we
added a truck, lots of volunteers, children, and dogs and
puppies |

Bill and Jay
handled the driving and towing the trailer |
Jill sat in
the trailer to watch the kids and the puppies |

The dogs had
a ball! And they didn't mind sharing the truck bed with a Dogdeer
(or is that a Reindog?) |

CJ started
out as an elf, then switched the job to Duke, who handled it very
patiently! |

Uncle Todd
was very good about wearing the reindeer antlers too. |
Chris walked
Becka, who had a wonderful time prancing down the road and being petted by
children. |

Other
participants in the parade came and checked out the puppies while waiting

We had less
volunteers, and less puppies, but the weather sure was
better!! |
It was
Marian's first parade, and she did great! Especially for a 5 month old
puppy with no formal leash training! |

Becka loved
Gaby walking her, but pretty much dragged her the whole 3 miles of the
parade! See that death grip on her leash!

Between the
two parades, hundreds of people found out about Happy Hills, and we handed
out lots of flyers. We'll do it again next year! |
