A Tour of Happy Hills
Very few shelters/rescue groups have a photo tour of their facilities, and now I know why. There simply is no way to make a cage look "good". However, we are intended to be a waystation, between the local pound and a new home. We aren't designed to be a home.
Happy Hills is in the country, south of Greensboro in Staley
You are greeted by a sign directing traffic so everyone can get in and out.
Some special needs animals stay in the house and have the front yard run to play in.
The outside of the grooming shop and main office
The office and sales area, on a day when 3 families were picking their new puppies up at the same time.
The grooming area
Indoor cage area where grooms are dried, some indoor animals are kept, and some boarders sleep
Indoor runs, usually used by puppies and animals still in quarantine
Some of our larger outdoor lots
One set of outdoor runs and associated exercise area
Outdoor runs where we plan to pour concrete and enclose runs

Upcoming plans are to pour concrete and enclose some of the outdoor runs, and to finish a building with indoor quarantine for space. Money still needs to be raised for the work, as most of our funds lately have been spent recovering from the fire.
