Sponsor a pet:
Pick any pet we have pictured on our website and sponsor their shots ($25), food ($5-$25 per week), or spay/neuter($85-$150). Simply include the information on which animal you want to sponsor, and
which part of its care when mailing your check. Or sponsor one of our less-adoptable pets, one of our special needs animals or give a sponsorship as a gift
for friends or family.
Volunteer opportunities available to:
- brush and wash animals
- play with animals
- exercise the dogs
- leash train dogs and puppies
- clean pens and yard
- take animals home for a day or two to socialize them to a "home" environment
- longer term foster homes are always needed
- help with office work like addressing newsletters

Supplies/Donations currently needed:
- shade cloth tarps
- postage stamps
- plastic storage bins with lids---any size
- Plywood 8' x 4' x half or three quarter inch
- cat and dog vaccines
- bleach
- cat litter---regular clay, not scoopable
- folding puppy/dog/cat pens for adoption fairs
- Iams dog and cat food - if donating dry food, be sure it is a premium brand like Iams, Science Diet, or Bil-Jac. Cheap food causes diarrhea (and fires)
- monetary donations are most needed for vet bills and supplies (because of discounts available, Happy Hills can often purchase supplies cheaper and make the money go further.)
- pre-paid phone cards
- Gift certificates to Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, Southern States, Liberty Farm and Garden, Art's, etc.
- laundry detergent
- liquid hand soap---antibacterial preferred
- plastic tables (like patio tables found at Dollar General or Family Dollar)
- Dawn dish detergent
- paper towels
- Plastic dog houses
- Kennel Cabs
- unflavored Pedialyte (store brand is fine)
- Snuggle-safe kitten/puppy warmers
- Large dog exercise runs
- Towels, sheets, or blankets for bedding
- Tarps
- Stainless steel no-spill dog bowls
- Training or Halti collars
- small to medium sized choke collars
