Little Girl & Bully
Disclaimer: since these are not Happy Hills' pets, we can not attest to their health or temperaments or be liable for them.

Their mother is half boxer and half pit bull, with one of the best temperaments I've ever seen. Their father was a blue Heeler. They were born 5-8-05. Both are housebroken and good with other dogs. They are learning to do well with cats although still tend to treat the cat as a toy.

Bully is unstoppable, happy, and very eager to play and please. He is the brave one and was the first to come to our door. He needs a little more training on not jumping when he greets us or when he is wanting attention.
We are working with him and he is learning that if he stays down he gets the attention he craves. We are also trying to teach him that he doesn't have to inhale his food. He was sorely underfed when he came to us and acts like it will be taken away from him at any second. He's getting better with this also.
As far as I know he was sent to a home with the owners Grandmother and then a few months later returned. He is too much for a senior citizen. He has been outside all his 5 months with no true attention. The fact that he loves people so much is a testimony to his name.
He would work well in an active family. Kids, dogs, even cats in time.
Being part of a family would be the perfect place for him.
Bully has had no shots, vet care, worming, and needs to be neutered.

Little Girl
This little dog has had a tougher time than Bully and she has my heart. She is shyer than her brother, she also has had very little love or care. She looks more like her father and is smaller boned, more fragile, and more timid.
She was hit by a van on Sept. 12th. They gave her her first shots, fluids, pain meds, antibiotics, blood builders, and salve for a bad wound on her hind leg. It was a slow recovery, but she has finished all her medications and is the sweetest most loving little thing.
Through all this she has never so much as growled at us. She, like her brother, is great with kids although I would like them to be old enough not to intimidate her. She loves other dogs and especially her brother, but I wouldn't want her placed with any bossy animals. She'd even do well with an older person. She's not that big of a dog and would love to be a lap dog.
She will be a great companion to any lower key family, older couple, or single person.
She needs to be wormed, have her booster shots, and be spayed.
