Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc., a NC state licensed nonprofit 501©3 animal shelter established in 1982 provides sheltering, rescue, adoptions, volunteer programs, community service worksite, humane education programs, low cost spay/neuter voucher program, pet food/supply pantry, and low cost/free pop-up veterinary clinics for publicly owned pets in our community.
We are currently seeking funding to support our Community Outreach Veterinary Clinic Program, which aims to provide accessible low cost/free veterinary services to our community pets.
This initiative has for the past 4 years and will continue to provide “pop up” pet vaccination clinics in all areas of Randolph County, providing lifesaving vaccinations to those pets that otherwise may never have had the opportunity to access preventative veterinary care in their lifetimes and directly benefit thousands of privately owned pets (cats/dogs) throughout our community.
These drive thru clinics are greatly needed as Randolph County has been deemed a “veterinary desert” due to it’s large spread out population and lack of actual and affordable veterinary options for the large number of pets in our community. Such large scale pet vaccination programs have statistically been proven to decrease infectious disease spread and improve quality of life for both humans and animals alike.
To bring this project to life, we are requesting a donation/grant from your organization. These funds will be used to purchase vaccines, dewormers, PPE supplies for volunteers, veterinary medical supplies, and materials such as rabies tags and forms needed.
We believe this investment will yield measurable results, including decreasing the spread of both infectious animal diseases (parvo, distemper, ect) as well as zoonotic disease such as rabies, improving the quality of life and public safety of both our community’s human and pet populations. We would be honored to partner with you in making this vision a reality. We would be happy to provide a detailed proposal and budget for your review.
We look forward to providing additional information about this impactful Community Veterinary Outreach Clinic Program opportunity.
Thank you for considering our request and for your dedication to supporting initiatives that strengthen our community.
